| I can’t help but hear Ozzy Osbourne sing, “I’m going through changes,” every time I think about going through changes. It’s a classic song and not a bad one to have stuck in your head ;). |
What kinds of changes?
So, what kinds of changes is Real Girl Puberty going through? Nothing totally major. I’ve changed my mission a bit. When I first started out (over 6 years ago) I had the vision to be the go-to resource for young girls to learn about and explore puberty. While that’s definitely still in the vision, I’ve grown and changed. My vision and mission now are to help moms and girls thrive through puberty while creating a lasting bond. What better way for young girls to explore puberty than with their amazing puberty ally (that’s you!) right by their side?
This refined mission has made me think about the ways I want to bring thriving and bonding to life. That’s where the Puberty Starter Kit for Moms was born. If you’re just starting out on your Puberty Mom journey or know someone who is, click here to join the Starter Kit.
Real Girl Puberty Magazine
I’ve also decided to open up the Real Girl Puberty catalog of past issues. The magazine issues have amazing content and I’d love for you to have access to all of them, not just the issue that was current when you joined the conversation. This change has an extra bonus of letting you comment on and have discussions about the different issues.
I’ll add a button to this post that’ll take you to the Magazine catalog page.
Upcoming changes
Another change in the works is the addition of puberty-related workshops. I’ve recently started offering the Puberty Preparedness Crash Course as a live workshop. I’ve found that it’s hard to coordinate the workshop time to fit all the moms’ busy schedules, so I’ll be releasing a recorded version so you can watch it anytime you’re free. #momlife right?
I’m currently scratching out the plans for some workshops that I’d love to offer. I already have 5 outlined that play off of the magazine issues. Can’t even tell you how excited I am about them! I’m not sure if they’ll work well in the online world, so they might have to wait until I can make it back home (the US). But believe me, they’ll be more than worth the wait.
I’m totally in love with Real Girl Puberty and I value you being a part of the conversation. It’s a slow roll, but I think we’re onto something that can change the world :).
